A Painting I Would Paint — 5 Comments

  1. Dear John,
Your idea for a painting is very moving. I would love to see it!
We have a new water service at our house – I am sure you would have loved to have seen the 4000 pound piece of equipment manned by Scottie that dug the ditch to lay the water line. Many large boulders from the ground sit in my front yard now, above the ground. I’ll plant flowers and make the best of them. They are very heavy and look quite natural. I didn’t know my front yard was a boulder pit! I think it was the earthquake that damaged the water line. Life is like a box of chocolates – you never know what you’re going to get.
I enjoy reading your essays. I see your project is going very well.

  2. When are you saying the earthquake was? Each walk with words that I take seems to take me deeper into the woods of expression. When you tell me that you enjoy my writing, each possible way really was past the place of reason. What essential awareness allows anyone specially aware to write? As i discover having walls that restrict me, I think this gift is probably how I survive. Even stupid people can talk. This seems unfair.
All i ask is for a way to awaken the world. As we go ascending to our futures, each of us must leave the past behind.
    Love, johnsmyth
